What is “CSPC: Filming the ineffable”? The initials CSPC stand for CENTRO SUPERIOR DE PRODUCCIÓN CINEMATOGRÁFICA, FILMAR LO INEFABLE, A.C. (or Higher Education Center for Cinematographic Production, Filming the Ineffable, Civil Association in English).
CSPC is a center dedicated to the creation of new cinematographic languages with HD.
It is a “Higher Education” center because it is aimed at those (younger than 40 years old) who have completed their studies in cinema, equivalent areas or audiovisual art studies, and also at those working in this artistic area who have chosen cinematic production as their professional career.
The search for and creation of new cinematographic languages is unique thanks to the structural idea of the new language we want to create: Telling stories from the human spiritual dimension, i.e. Filming the ineffable. “Transcendent Anthropology”There are many different ways to describe the reality of Mankind, e.g. from a sociological, psychological, or ethnological viewpoint. The CSPC has opted for a pluridimensional anthropological angle: Christian Philosophy/ Theology/ Spiritualism.
The CSPC seeks to articulate new languages through the tensions which exist between: Existential questions and Christian anthropology.
We want to experience a New Visual Aesthetic from this perspective, a true iconography.
We seek to develop new languages which deal with the meaning and transcendence of human life, which signify new hope, and which, bring us closer, through human drama, to intercultural and interreligious dialogue. |
